What do Scope 1, 2, and 3 of the carbon footprint include?

Scope 1 - Includes direct greenhouse gas emissions resulting from fuel combustion in stationary sources, e.g., burning fossil fuels in company installations, emissions from production processes, or from the company’s vehicle fleet.
Scope 2 - Includes indirect greenhouse gas emissions related to the production and delivery of purchased electricity, heat, or steam by another company, e.g., emissions from the production of electricity purchased from an external supplier, emissions from purchased hot water or steam.
Scope 3 - Includes all other indirect greenhouse gas emissions not included in Scope 1 and 2.
